The city of Lake Elsinore is located in western Riverside County and was established in 1988. This city features a freshwater lake over 3,000 acres and is a popular destination for boating and fishing. There are over 60,000 people currently residing in Lake Elsinore and this city continues to steadily grow each year. Housing prices tend to be more affordable for buyers here. There are many different communities throughout Lake Elsinore, from older homes that were built in the early 1900’s to new construction, there is something here for everyone.
This area is located just below the Cleveland National Forrest and the Ortega Highway. This Highway takes you from Riverside County to Orange County and the beach communities. There is also some fun camping spots and places to stop along the way. Lake Elsinore is the home to the Storm professional baseball team which is the farm team for the San Diego Padres. For dirt bike enthusiasts there is the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix that takes place every year in November. The weather here tends to run mild in the winter and pretty hot in the summer with temps into the 100s.
